Our Story

The Ability in Disability Association
(TADA)

is a youth-led, community-based organisation (CBO) working at grassroots level to advance the rights, dignity, and inclusion of persons with disabilities in Zimbabwe. We operate as both an advocacy
organisation and a watchdog, promoting accountability and ensuring that the rights of
women, men, and young people with disabilities are protected and upheld in line with
the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).
Founded in 2016 to respond to the exclusion and marginalisation of youth, girls, and
women with disabilities, TADA is led by persons with disabilities and is committed to
strengthening their autonomy, voice, and participation in society.

Our work focuses on empowering underprivileged and isolated communities through
socio-economic inclusion, prevention of gender-based violence, and improved access tosexual and reproductive health rights and services.
