is a youth-led, community-based organisation (CBO) working at grassroots level to advance the rights, dignity, and inclusion of persons with disabilities in Zimbabwe. We operate as both an advocacy organisation and a watchdog, promoting accountability and ensuring that the rights of women, men, and young people with disabilities are protected and upheld in line with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD). Founded in 2016 to respond to the exclusion and marginalisation of youth, girls, and women with disabilities, TADA is led by persons with disabilities and is committed to strengthening their autonomy, voice, and participation in society.
Our work focuses on empowering underprivileged and isolated communities through socio-economic inclusion, prevention of gender-based violence, and improved access tosexual and reproductive health rights and services.

I. To promote access to comprehensive sexual reproductive health including HIV/AIDS for persons with disabilities II. OUR APPROACH
As an Organisation of Persons with Disabilities (OPD), our work is guided by the World Health Organization’s Community-Based Inclusive Development (CBID) approach, ensuring that all interventions are community-driven, participatory, and sustainable. Our programmes are designed around the five core pillars of the CBID approach, which include: i. Health and Rehabilitation – improving access to inclusive healthcare and SRHR services ii. Education – promoting inclusive and equitable learning opportunities iii. Economic Empowerment – strengthening livelihoods and financial independence iiiv. Social Inclusion – addressing stigma, discrimination, and protection from genderbased violence v. Research and Policy Influence – generating evidence and advocating for inclusive policies and systems
Legal Status & Credibility
TADA is a registered Private Voluntary Organisation (PVO) operating within the legal frameworks of Zimbabwe and is also registered as a trust (Deed Number: DA0015/10/16). Our head office is based in Harare with programmes implemented at community level, particularly in underserved rural areas.
